SingTel wants to jump on the success bandwagon of Apple’s App Store, so they have they decided to open up a local app store called, “Singtel App Zone”.
What can you expect from the app store. Well Singtel promises a multitude of apps that will cater not just to one operating systems, but all kinds.
This service is available only to SingTel customers for which they can get access to it via their mobile device or computer. No matter if you’re on Android, Symbian or Windows Mobile, the App Zone promises compatibility across all platforms.
Payment is likely paid via postpaid bill or prepaid card. Currently the App Zone is off-limit to public use and is in testing mode. So far it is reported some 1,300 programs are its in inventory.
