The most recent online spate and marketing battle between the PC and MAC is probably Microsoft ‘Laptop Hunters’ ad. You know, the one where buyers goes out to look for a certain product with their budget in mind. In the end the user bought the PC instead of the MAC. And yes Apple product cost more than the PC, but that’s what you get for quality right. Well here’s a couple of the ad released by Microsoft. Laptop Hunters $1000 – Lauren Gets an HP Pavilion Laptop Hunters $1500 Lisa and Jackson get a Sony VAIO Laptop Hunters $700 Matt and Olivia get an HP dv7 Laptop Hunters $2000 – Sheila gets an HP HDX But Apple is not taking it lying down, here is their ad response. Hahaha, cute right. Well thanks to Apple’s well-publicized complaint about Microsoft’s “Laptop Hunters” advertisements, the ads have been changed. Apple cite that the ads are factually inaccurate. With that the latest in the Microsoft ad series has reportedly been edited. Microsoft confirmed it had updated the ad, but said it does not reflect a broad change in the campaign. Yup the Microsoft ‘Laptop Hunters’ ad will keep on running. ![]()
