How to update your iPod Touch to 3.0

When it is done, preferably you should save it to the desktop.

1. Open iTunes and where it says “Restore”
2. Option+Click and then choose the 3.0 Firmware

Now your iPod should restore to the new Firmware.

Jailbreak

If you would like to jailbreak use redsn0w.
