Apple has released an update which will be available to download through iTunes on Saturday. I really recommend iPhone users to upgrade as its a security fix. Find the iPhone OS 3.0.1 update in iTunes. Just connect your iPhone and update.

Description: A memory corruption issue exists in the decoding of SMS messages. Receiving a maliciously crafted SMS message may lead to an unexpected service interruption or arbitrary code execution. This update addresses the issue through improved error handling.
