Apple Store turns 1
Yup indeed the popular Apple Store might have turned one, where the company boasts of 65,000 applications available via the App Store, and some 1.5 billion downloads so far.
But critics are coming out saying that the numbers announced are inflated. They cite that some apps are built on templates or ‘bulk apps’ with collection of apps in it.
While Apple counts all the apps within the template, critics says a template-based apps should only be count as one.
Hahaha, such a trivial matter to you perhaps? Well not for Apple and these experts who depends on such figures that would make or break their business. As for me, as long as I get the apps I want, I don’t really much care for the figures.
