It is reported that Apple is close in inking a deal with the Chinese government that would allow the popular smartphone, the iPhone to be sold in the Mainland.
If so, then that would make Apple open to a whole new mobile market, and its coffers of profit to multiple, as China is the world’s largest mobile market.
Well the reports is still unconfirmed, but it is said August would be the likeliest period for a scheduled Mainland launch, or if the negotiations are prolonged, then the most likely it would be until the end of the year for the launch.
Also it is reported Apple has applied for a Network Access License, but the downside, iPhone sold in China would not be equipped with WiFi.
